Linda N. Taliaferro, owner-operator of LNT Bodywork Basics, graduated from the Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy in September 2000. She completed her National Certification in January of 2001 and is an active member of the American Association of Bodywork Professionals. She has studied extensively with the Upledger Institute in the disciplines of Lymphatic Drainage Technique and Craniosacral work and has earned the status of TA or teaching assistant in LDT. She studied Traditional Thai Massage, known as Nuad Bo Rarn, at the Thai Massage College in Chang Mai, Thailand. She earned her Advanced Practitioner of Thai Massage from the Institute of Thai Massage-USA.

Ms Taliaferro earned her certification in doula service through Massage Doula Network and is a member of DONA (Doulas of North America) the largest doula network in the United States. By delivering prenatal massage to mothers, working with parents during delivery and through teaching new parents specific hands-on techniques to use with their children, Ms Taliaferro is building foundations for healthy touch that benefit all concerned.

Ms. Taliaferro was attracted to body work through the observation of three facts:

In her practice, Ms. Taliaferro is dedicated to helping clients achieve a higher degree of health by becoming aware of where they are holding stress, and once aware of it, letting it go.
